I’ve had the experience of working with Miss Maribel and she has inspired me in every way. 

Miss Maribel is so creative and fun! 

Miss Maribel is a very caring person, you will feel very comfortable leaving your child with her. 

In the new world that we live in Miss Maribel takes a lot of precautions. She will make sure your little one is safe at all times. 

Miss Maribel provides lots of educational projects. She is very crafty so the kiddos are always busy on their next project. 

One of my favorite activities I seen Miss Maribel do was help her students explore the kitchen! She has her students make pasta she explains the process and has her students take turns with the ingredients.

Story time is always fun with her! She not only read books in English but she helps students learn Spanish. A second language always comes in handy. Most of her students are able to count numbers in Spanish and point out letters in Spanish too.

She will provide a detail note with all the activities your child has done by the end of the day! & not to forget she potty trains!

We loved Blossoming Wisdom!

Our son has been a student with Miss Maribel from age 1 to 2.5, until we sadly moved from Chicago. His experience there was fantastic.

Miss Maribel is a warm, welcoming and thoughtful person. Our son rapidly grew a unique relationship with her, which was made of love, fun but also respect – pretty much the relationship of a child and his/her parent.

Miss Maribel is creative. Every single day, the kids would do a variety of educational projects (indoors or outdoors), generally focused around one selected theme, that would stimulate all their senses. For example, Miss Maribel noticing the kids’ interest into sunflowers during a stroll would get one, have them explore the different parts of the plant, teach them their respective functions, paint it or glue it as part of an art project and finally have them plant the seeds into a pot. Additionally, a field trip would typically be organized at least once a week. We loved when Miss Maribel took our son to the pet shop so he can discover animals that he would otherwise only see in books. 

Miss Maribel is also very patient. She helped our son practice potty training and channel his energy through various physical and sensory activities.

From a safety perspective, Miss Maribel was cautious. She was watchful of the kids’ environment, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, and had them wear face masks when appropriate.

Lastly, Miss Maribel was flexible and understanding of our personal and professional constraints and circumstances, often offering to accommodate our schedules when unexpected events occurred.
